So you think you have a server that we can use on the network. Well look below for our requirements. All of the following requirements are manditory unless other wise noted. When you look through this whole doucment and you believe that you meet the requirements. Join #help and request Craighton with your proposal to link your server.

General Requirements

We here at LogicLounge IRC pick our IRCOps and servers very carefully. This means that even though you have donated a server doesn’t mean you can become a IRCOp. This also means that not every server that is presented to LogicLounge is accepted. Every server presented to LogicLounge IRC is voted on by the Board of Directors and then is tested for integerity and stability before brought online.

Hardware Requirements

Operating System*:

> Linux

> *BSD (FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, etc.)

> Minimum Intel Pentium 3 @ 1.0 Ghz

> 256mb of RAM

> 100MB Free Hard Drive space

> Minimum 1.5MB upload bandwidh

> Dedicated static IP address for the server

> 30 day average uptime

* NOTE: YOU are required to keep the server up to date with the latest security updates.

Software Requirements

Linking Requirements

> Network Root Admins and Global Admins shall at all times hold a O:Line on the server

> The Board of Directors must be given the SSH and FTP information.

> Security of the server and shell is the responsibility of the owner. If there is any breach in security the server will be     immeaditly delinked and the threat will be evaluated and depending on the severity of the breach the server may be     permanitly delinked or suspended.

> The Server Owner must be able to pay the fees to maintain the server. Expect for about 5GBs per month of bandwidth.

> Server Admins must keep their servers and configs up to date and be ready for any upgrades or problems with in 24 hours of the request.

> Servers must use the network web address(*.logiclounge.net) and name(LogicLounge).

**LogicLounge will NEVER merge with other IRC networks or switch to their name.

Other Requirements

> This server is to be ONLY used for a IRC and webserver. Under no circumstances can you run any other service on the server such as any bots programs, warez, FTPs not for the network, or any kind of illegal material.

> After the approval of the server you will be required to give the Board of Directors the SSH information so that they may install the Unreal distro. Any applications installed by the admins on the server is not to be reused, distributed, or modifyed with authorization from the Board of Directors.
